Default Applying my own extensions - Help!!!

Hi all, I've been a qualified hair extensionist for several years now but would like to try putting my own in, are there any tips / advice I should know before applying them? Also which installation method is the easiest for me?

Thanks in advance.

Kelly, I defo wouldn't recommend you applying your own extensions, go to a salon or a fellow extensionist.

Cool

Hi Kelly

If you are still thinking of doing your own extentions I think Pro tac tape would be the easiest method.

I agree I think proflex/protac is the easiest to do if your doing it yourself.

Easy loops are super easy- micro rings that are pre threaded.

i have done my own several times. - just go for it, they are very easy to remove and redo aswell so if you make a mistake you can just whip it out and try again.

If you have a very blunt style though will prob need someone else to blend it for you.

I have done a half head of pre bonded fusion, although it took along time and wasnt easy its possible. 2 big mirrors, digital camera , finger protectors & alot of patience will help. When i used to wear glue in wefts i would devide my hair then take a picture of the back to make sure it was straight , then adjust if neccesary.

Will never be perfect doing if yourself but it is do-able
